Kitchen Help Needed

Everyone starts somewhere – but you have to start! Kick off your culinary career in a popular spot! Halvorson’s needs someone just like you to join our kitchen team. Learn the restaurant biz in a fun and friendly atmosphere. We are always interested in talking with resposible and accountable candidates that are willing to work hard and be nice to people!
We are not currently hiring front of house staff, but would love to hear from you if you are looking for work this Spring/Summer. We begin ramping up mid-March.
In the Kitchen: We will be hiring full and part time line cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers. If you need experience, we will train you. Start with dishwashing and food prep, and add more skills as you become more experienced. We have morning and evening shifts available 10AM-4PM weedays | 8AM-4PM weekends | 3 or 4PM-10:30 nights. Can offer some flexibility to accommodate your school or other work schedule.
Restaurant work teaches you many life skills and sets you up for success. Teamwork, prioritization, time management, conflict resolution, inventory management, communication and branding are just some of the skills you can get at Halvorson’s.

After School and Weekend Hours
We are currently looking for staff to work outside of the typical school hours. With nighttime and weekend hours, Halvorson’s has the right fit for your school schedule.
Paid Training
Always wanted to work in a restaurant, but not sure if you have the skills. We will train you! From knife skills to line work, we will set you on the right path to success in the kitchen and beyond.
